FARMERS UNION INSURANCE SUPPORTS HONEYBEES WITH SPONSORSHIP
As the Minot Honeybees softball team embark in their historic first season, the team aims to highlight the women in business who are supporting the team with their sponsorship. Lezlie Beuchler – an agent with Minot’s Farmers Union Insurance branch – shared her thoughts on the strengths of women in her industry, the importance of community engagement in her role, and what supporting the Honeybees means to her and to Farmers Union in a recent video released by the Honeybees.
Beuchler discusses the importance of forming and maintaining connections with members of her community and specifically notes that traits that are clichély associated with women help her find success in her role, such as emotionality and interpersonality.
“The clients that come in – they’re not just another number. We form relationships,” Beuchler said. “I ask them about their lives, and I remember it.”
As founding sponsors of the Honeybees, Farmers Union Insurance is elated to uplift women and girls within their company as well as within the community, particularly in sports.
“Just like our industry has always been male-dominated, so has the sports world,” said Beuchler. “Locally, it’s been really fun to have the Hot Tots baseball team. Now we’ve got the Honeybees in town, and it’s going to be great for the girls in Minot to see them succeed, have fun, and do well.”
Farmers Union will continue its sponsorship throughout the 2024 summer softball season.
