Honeybee Edibles' cherry-pistachio white chocolate bar infused with THC was inspired by gelato
St. Louis’ own Honeybee Edibles sets the bar high for cannabis-infused food. Created by culinary director Dave Owens, who was formerly the head chocolatier for Bissinger’s, Honeybee Edibles are so good, you can't even tell they're distillate-infused (i.e., no lingering solvent flavor) unlike many products on the market. “It’s high-quality ingredients with a culinary execution,” Owens previously told Sauce.
Our most recent foray into the Honeybee realm was the cherry-pistachio white chocolate bar, a divine take on a popular gelato flavor. Honeybee utilizes European chocolate bases, which has no trace of the waxy American chocolate we’re used to on this side of the pond. The white chocolate is infused with aromatic tart cherries and topped with a smattering of slow-roasted pistachios for a delightfully luxurious cannabis experience.
The full bar contains 100 milligrams of THC and is divided into 10 10-milligram squares, each scored to be easily split in half for precise dosing. It easily melts in your mouth with just the right amount of crunch from the nuts. We recommend letting the chocolate melt almost completely but reserving just a little of the creaminess to chomp down with the pistachios.
