Grandeur Wines Partners with Bee Regenerative to Support Bee Conservation Efforts

Scheid Family Wines is proud to announce its second year of partnering with Bee Regenerative (formerly Bee Girl Organization) to support the nonprofit organization’s work in bee conservation and biodiversity in agricultural settings. The wine company will donate $1 (up to $3,500) for every bottle of its Grandeur wines purchased in September and October to Bee Regenerative.

Scheid Family Wines launched Grandeur organic wines in 2023. The fruit is sourced from its first certified organic vineyard, White Flower, which was planted around a single blue oak tree that houses a flourishing resident bee colony in its trunk.

“The bees were at this beautiful, remote site long before we were,” says Heidi Scheid, Executive Vice President of Scheid Family Wines. “A healthy bee population is vital to agriculture, so we support and applaud Bee Regenerative’s efforts.”

Bee Regenerative is the evolution of Bee Girl Organization (BGO). BGO was originally conceived to support beekeepers and educate children, and Bee Regenerative’s team now works shoulder-to-shoulder with ranchers, winemakers, universities, government entities, policy makers, and partner nonprofits to understand and address issues in agriculture that affect bees, and to create collaborative win-win solutions for bees and producers.

“We are so excited for this next stage, as we are growing and taking on more team members to move more into the agricultural space, including native bee conservation and increasing biodiversity on working landscapes,” says BGO Founder Sarah Red-Laird. “Long-term partnerships with like-minded brands like Grandeur are critical to our ability to do what we do every day to support biodiverse working landscapes that are bursting with healthy bees.”

“We’re honored to support Bee Regenerative’s efforts in native bee conservation and biodiversity, and to be a part of the regenerative agriculture community,” says Scheid.

Grandeur produces three certified organic wines from the Monterey appellation of the Central Coast of California. The Rosé, first released in 2023, is made from Petite Sirah grapes and offers fresh fruit aromas and flavors, a light-to-medium body and a bright acidity. The just-released Cabernet Sauvignon is a smooth, full bodied red with generous black fruit flavors, dark chocolate notes and seamless tannins. The brand also offers a Red Blend.

Grandeur wines are available nationally at select retailers nationwide and may also be purchased online at grandeurwines.com. Follow along on Instagram @grandeurwines.
