Introduction to Beekeeping

Join local beekeeper and Worcester County Beekeeping Association member John Hedly for a presentation about the basics of beekeeping. Presentation will include topics such as collecting honey, starting a beehive, the importance of pollination, and more!

John Hedly graduated from the Worcester County Beekeepers Association (WCBA) bee school in 2009 and has been a Beekeeper for 14 years. Nominated for Beekeeper of the Year two times by the WCBA, John continues to mentor new beekeepers and share his expertise with many organizations throughout Massachusetts. He is currently a two-term member of the WCBA Board of Directors.
