Sand Mountain Beekeepers Association to offer free workshops

The Sand Mountain Beekeepers Association will be hosting Introduction to Beekeeping Workshops in September and October.

Workshop topics are:

Thursday, Sept 19, class one, beekeeping equipment

Thursday, Sept. 26, class two, hive management and tools

Thursday, Oct. 3, class three, pest management

Thursday, Oct. 10, class four, robbing and honey processing

Each class begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Guntersville Library Annex at 1240 Obrig Avenue, Guntersville, 35976.

All classes are free and open to the public. No registration is required.
