Stone Arch Sessions to feature pop duo, 7000apart

Swedish/American alt-pop duo, 7000apart, will be the featured performer of the Sept. 10 Stone Arch Sessions. The duo will perform at 7 p.m. at Stone Arch Brewpub, 1004 S. Olde Oneida St., Appleton.

Admission is a $10 suggested donation at the door.

7000apart is comprised of singer Amelie Eiding and multi-instrumentalist Jon Kresin, who have both struggled with mental health issues over the years and have fostered a genuine passion for helping others through their music.

The pair met when Eiding visited Wisconsin as a Swedish exchange student and bonded over their love of music. They maintained a long-distance relationship, writing songs together while being 7000 kilometers apart for three years.

The duo got married in 2016 and moved to the U.S. with the intention of pursuing music together full-time. They kept writing through the pandemic, and are now touring and recording full-time. They have released nine singles, and are working on their second full-length album, Feel Your Feelings.
