Another ‘Family Fun on the Farm’ set for July 27

The Bartholomew County Historical Society (BCHS) presents another free, Family Fun on the Farm event at the Historic Henry Breeding Farm, 13730 N. County Road 100W, in Edinburgh, this Saturday, July 27, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Area residents are invited to experience life on a farm in the early 1900s. Families will enjoy the Reeves steam engine, wagons, games, music, spinning and weaving, beekeeping, blacksmithing, candle making, the Simmons one-room schoolhouse, and crafts.

Family Fun on the Farm will be canceled if there is heavy rain. For more information, visit bartholomewhistory.org or call 812.372.3541.

The mission of the Bartholomew County Historical Society’s museum, at 524 3rd St., is to collect and preserve the county’s artifacts, photographs, and documents. Through interpretive programs and displays, BCHS teaches the heritage of this region to enrich both present and future generations.
