The meteorologist named the reason for the abnormal heat in Ukraine
Scientists have long warned of future anomalies caused by global warming. However, people began to notice changes only with the arrival of unbearable heat.
Meteorologist, head of the applied climatology laboratory of the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Institute of the State Emergency Service and the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Svitlana Krakovska told about this in an interview Ukrainian Radio.
The specialist noted that the current heat is an anomalous phenomenon that was predicted. However, knowing the reason can influence it.
The main reason for such an anomaly is human influence on the climate. At the same time, the specialist noted that it may take a lot of time to solve the problem. For example, if you had to wait a decade for clear manifestations, then, accordingly, visible results may appear only after a decade.
However, a person is not "guilty" in all processes.
We are talking about climate change and global warming, that is, the general background that has already risen. And the synoptic situation, which is here and now, is a manifestation of a chronic disease. That is, when a person has a chronic disease, he may have different manifestations. And this heat is a manifestation of a chronic disease called climate change, said the meteorologist.
According to her, climate change is happening faster in Europe than anywhere else. One of the reasons for this is that the air in Europe is getting cleaner.
