Introduction to Beekeeping at North Scituate Library

North Scituate Public Library, 606 West Greenville Road, will host Introduction to Beekeeping on Tuesday, Aug. 6, at 6 p.m.

The R.I. Beekeepers Association will be presenting an introduction to beekeeping for beginners or for those interested in keeping bees but who may not know how or where to start. They will share a realistic view of what equipment is needed, what the upkeep looks like, how one should winter the bees, and also discuss the importance of bees and the environment.
