Cynthiana was buzzing Saturday

A little rain shower around 8:30 a.m. Saturday didn’t stop the fun at the third annual Cynthiana Honey Festival. The event kicked off with the Honeybee Hustle and provided a steady stream of entertainment throughout the day.

Musicians played, kids painted hive boxes, contestants in the Queen Bee pageant strutted their stuff during two separate sessions, members of the Licking Valley Honey Bee Society educated folks on the ways of bees, food trucks brought the deliciousness and vendors provided plenty of honey and arts and crafts for purchase.

It was a good day to be in downtown Cynthiana!
