Weather: from rain to a brief return of good weather
In particular, it is expected that bad weather will continue to prevail, affecting many Italian regions.
Rain and thunderstorms in the Center-South
The weather conditions are particularly adverse in the central and southern regions of Italy.
Between Wednesday and Thursday, there are still widespread rains and thunderstorms. Emilia Romagna and Marche are under the eye of the cyclone with abundant and continuous precipitation, unfortunately causing significant disruptions. Abruzzo, Molise, and Puglia will also not be spared, with heavy rains expected to hit these areas. On the contrary, Northern Italy seems to be slightly more excluded, with predominantly cloudy skies and precipitation mainly limited to areas adjacent to the Po River and surrounding areas.
Improvements are coming
Despite the turbulent weather conditions at the start of the week, an improvement is expected starting from Friday.
Atmospheric pressure is expected to increase, which should lead to more stable weather and clearings over much of the peninsula. The weekend, in particular, promises much more favorable weather conditions.
High pressure should prevail, ensuring sunny days and a rise in temperatures. The Center-South could even experience almost summer-like weather, perfect for the first excursions or an early visit to the beaches. In the North, temperatures will remain more moderate but still ideal for outdoor activities.
Will the good weather last?
Despite the brief period of good weather, the weather forecasts do not seem to promise long-term stability. With the start of the next week, a new Atlantic disturbance is already on its way, ready to bring rain and thunderstorms again to many Italian regions. It is therefore essential to stay updated on the latest weather forecasts to adequately prepare for future developments.
