Weekend with two faces: from RAIN to ABNORMAL HEAT and subsequent TEMPERATURE DROP
The climate in Europe, and not only, has clearly gone crazy. Autumn on our Italian peninsula has made itself felt strongly, bringing a series of disturbances that have caused many inconveniences.
In total, as many as seven disturbances have already hit us, and now we are in the midst of the eighth, which will affect part of the Italian regions during the weekend.
September, therefore, has proven to be particularly rainy, far beyond what we have been accustomed to in recent years. During the weekend, disturbance number 8 will continue to hit the northern regions with rain and thunderstorms, already present today.
But that’s not all: this disturbed front will draw much warmer air from the South, of sub-tropical origin, causing temperatures to rise to almost summer values.
From 30°C in the South to RAIN in the North, but everything changes from SUNDAY!
Weather Friday: in the North, instability with heavy showers and thunderstorms in Liguria, northern Lombardy, Trentino Alto Adige, Veneto, and Friuli, more sun in Piedmont and Emilia Romagna.
In the Center, rain in upper Tuscany and, more isolated, in Umbria and Marche, with clearings in Lazio and Abruzzo.
In the South, mostly sunny, except for some clouds in Campania. Temperatures rising in the South and Adriatic, strong southern winds, and very rough or rough seas. Weather Saturday: in the North, the weather will be variable with scattered rain and thunderstorms, more widespread in the evening between lower Lombardy, Emilia Romagna, and lower Veneto.
In the Center, some clouds in the morning and isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon, especially between Tuscany, Umbria, and Marche.
In the South, irregular cloudiness with isolated rain, but improving towards evening.
Temperatures dropping in the North, up to 30-31°C in the South.
Winds will be moderate or strong from the west, with intense bora in the Trieste area. Weather Sunday: in the North, residual instability in the morning in Emilia Romagna with showers ending and sun elsewhere.
In the afternoon, variability in the Northeast without significant phenomena.
In the Center, instability along the Adriatic in the morning with improvement in the afternoon, more sun in the Tyrrhenian regions.
In the South, variability between Molise and northern Puglia with afternoon showers, more sun elsewhere. Temperatures dropping everywhere, strong northern winds, and very rough or rough seas.
