4th Annual Honeybee and Harvest Festival
Over the weekend, The Greenhouse Project hosted its 4th annual Honeybee and Harvest Festival at Nay Aug Park in Scranton. The festival had over 40 vendors and was accompanied by a parade.
“A great experience, it’s all about having fun and raising awareness for what’s important," said Maureen Duffy, President of The Greenhouse Project.
There were many live demonstrations at the event, including an old-fashioned apple press that has been in operation for 75 years. In conjunction with the event, Valley in Motion held their “walk to the park”- encouraging the community to walk from the University of Scranton campus to the event.
